So while I nest away over here, read how to read make these, so easy! I made these head bows for $6, that's all! 5 bows, so worth it, you need these, now i'll just wait for her to get here so we can try these out.

Halloween Costume Favorites

Wednesday, October 7, 2015

Although our sweet baby girl isn't here yet, & yes at our growth ultra sound I was that crazy mom-to-be that asked the ultra sound tech to double check to make sure it really was a girl, I had this slight fear that I designed this little pink nursery & stuffed her drawers full of pink ruffle-y clothes... and I would be mistaken. We are completely smitten with a baby so either boy or girl we are still so in love with this tiny human, but poor boy, I would hate to bring him home in a pink floral hat + bow headband, and pink sleeper. Anyways long story short, we're on the single digit count down. I mean seriously someone pinch me. This journey has been incredible, so truly grateful for it!

So I completely have costumes + halloween on the brain! Maybe it's because I just got done throwing a cute cat party for my little nieces but the outfits out there are seriously adorable! I put together a list of my absolute favorites, I mean the swan princess + cotton candy are running a close first place and runner up! So if you have an infant this year or are planning for one next year be sure to check out these + wait for the clearance sale and stock up and save of her outfit for next year!

Happy Halloween & stay tune for our little cat party, I mean you're going to die when you see my darling nieces in their cat masks, okay, I may be a little biased....

Poodle Sugar Cookies.

Thursday, September 10, 2015

Although poodle cookies may sound absolutely ridiculous, they are so cute..
I'm sharing this recipe over at Mom's Best with some helpful tips that make frosting & mixing color so much easier! No need to buy custom colors, it's so not worth the $5 for the tiny jar of coloring... that's why I just pick up the regular 'old McCormicks food coloring + the neon version of it. These are so reasonably priced + when you mix them, the possibilities are endless.

If you're a sugar cookie newbie - head over to mom's best to get the full recipe + how to on these, don't forget outline first than "flood" or frost, let dry, than add any details! Happy poodle dog making, this totally inspires me for a dog themed party! How cute would that be? I'm already envisioning!

Favorite baby bows + hats.

Thursday, September 3, 2015

Although there seems to be a MILLION, okay maybe not quite that much, baby bows + hats out there, I rounded up a list of my very favorite baby bows! Also Peanut Planner, has this fabulous website where you can just click the link and go directly to the website + click the little plus button and it tells you how much the product is! I mean really, how great is that? I had when I see a cute round up than I click the link just to find out that product is like $75 for a blanket... life made EASY, just click the + button to be linked + get the down low on the prices!

Since our sweet little babe will be a fall baby, I do want to make sure her little head is nice and warm when we're out and about, or if we're just hanging out inside, which might happen more than not, she can be styling in a little headband. Rumor has it, if you start them young, by that I mean little babes, with headbands, they'll keep them on. Wish me luck, she'll hate them or love them, but I'm hoping for the later part. These bows are chic, stylish, and best of all affordable! Each one under $15, cha-ching! Happy baby hat + bow shopping!
